In briefplasticpallet.info is an information site run by ROLL SNC. We use the data you send us only to reply to you, the site uses no profiling cookies, and the guides do not replace data sheets, standards or professional advice.
Who runs the site
plasticpallet.info is a project of ROLL SNC di Pini Sergio & C., registered office at Via Don Capiaghi 9, 22070 Bregnano (CO), Italy. VAT number IT03818250130. Contact: info@roll-packaging.com.
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.
ROLL is also the data controller for the personal data collected through the site.
What data we process and why
Contact form
If you write to us from the contact page, we receive the data you enter: name, company, email, country, subject, message and, if given, reel diameter and weight. The form sends them by email to info@roll-packaging.com.
- Purpose: to reply to your request and, where relevant, prepare a quotation.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to the requests we receive (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- We do not use this data for newsletters or marketing and we do not pass it on to third parties.
The Professor bot
The bot first looks for the answer in the site's guides, directly in your browser. If the external service is active, your question, the text of the page you are reading and the last few turns of the conversation are sent to Chatbase, a provider based in the United States, which generates the answer. In that case the transfer outside the European Union relies on the contractual safeguards offered by the provider, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Do not enter personal data in the bot: for a personal request, use the contact form.
- To limit abuse, the server keeps an anonymised code derived from your IP address for about 10 minutes.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering a question-and-answer service on the guides (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Technical browsing data
Like any website, the server records technical data (IP address, date, page requested) in the hosting provider's logs, for security and operation. We do not use it to profile you.
How long we keep it
Requests received through the form stay in our mailbox for as long as we need to handle them and, as a rule, no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If a request turns into an order, the data follows the retention periods required by law for commercial and tax documents.
Who receives the data
- Hostinger, the site's hosting provider, which processes the data on our behalf.
- ROLL's email service provider.
- Chatbase, only for questions to the bot and only if the external service is active.
We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict processing or to object to it, in the cases set out in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR. Write to info@roll-packaging.com. If you believe the processing is not lawful, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies and external content
The site uses no profiling cookies and no analytics tools that track you, so we do not ask for cookie consent.
Some resources do come from external servers, which receive your IP address when you load them:
- when you open the bot, your browser downloads a typeface from Google Fonts;
- the ROLL logo comes from the roll-packaging.com website;
- on the videos page, the thumbnails come from YouTube, and the videos open on YouTube.
Trademarks and names mentioned
The trademarks and the company and product names mentioned in the guides belong to their respective owners. We mention them only to describe and compare, with the sources listed at the bottom of each page. No company mentioned is affiliated with this site, apart from ROLL. If you represent a company mentioned and want a figure corrected, write to us.
Limits of the information
The guides are written with care and with their sources shown, but they are for information only. They do not replace manufacturers' data sheets, the official text of standards or the advice of a consultant, a designer or your insurer.
- Load ratings, suitability for racking, load securing and fire safety must be checked on the actual model and the actual installation.
- Tax rules, the PPWR, CONAI (the Italian packaging recovery consortium) and ISPM 15 change over time and from country to country: for your own case, ask a consultant or the competent authority to confirm.
- Price ranges are indicative and are not an offer.
To the extent permitted by law, ROLL is not liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of the information on this site. If you find a mistake, write to us: we will correct it and update the page date.

The site's text, diagrams and images belong to ROLL, unless stated otherwise. You may quote them with a link to the page. Some illustrative images may have been created or retouched with digital tools: they are there to explain a concept and do not represent a specific product, unless they name it.
